Miso Cat Food Pouch Packaging Design
An illustrated, warm and friendly stand-up pouch for a grain free salmon cat food, with clear feeding information on the back.
Project Overview
Miso Pet Wellness makes a grain free salmon cat food for indoor cats, with real salmon and gut friendly probiotics. The brand wanted packaging that shows the love between a cat and its owner, and feels closer to a wellness brand than a regular pet food bag.

The Challenge
Pet food shelves are full of photo heavy bags and almost identical layouts. Miso needed an instantly recognisable look, a clear message about digestion and coat health, and a back panel that makes the feeding guide and guaranteed analysis simple for owners to follow.
Our Approach
We created a custom illustration of an owner hugging a happy orange cat, set on a soft light blue and peach background with leaves and little fish icons. A bold hand drawn Miso wordmark sits on top. The back opens with Happy gut, happy cat, followed by four icon benefits, a feeding guide table by cat weight and the guaranteed analysis.

Packaging Structure
Stand-up pouch with front and back panels (6 x 8.5 in), a 2 in bottom gusset with paw and fish pattern, zipper and tear notches.
